Michael Gerstein has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1977. He is an honor’s graduate of the University of Maryland and received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1976 and LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 1980. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the (Federal) United States District Court for Massachusetts, the (Federal) First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Gerstein is a past President of the Haverhill Bar Association and a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. He has taught tax law at Northern Essex Community College and is a member of the Northern Essex Community College Foundation which provides scholarships and guidance to its students. He has given numerous seminars to the public on How to Start a New Business and Legal Entities to Employ, First Time Homebuyers assistance, and has given as given lectures to Certified Public Accountants on various aspects of tax law and estate planning. Mr. Gerstein combines his extraordinary ability and experience with a passion for the law, a commitment to excellence, and a dedication to integrity.
